Something unsettling came out last week.
A Chinese spy group used AI to help run a major hacking campaign that hit close to thirty organisations.
The part that shocked investigators was how simple it was:
-
The group managed to trick an AI tool into helping them by getting it to ignore its own safety rules.
-
Once that happened, the AI started writing code, looking for weak spots and assisting in the attack without realising what it was being used for.
This is a turning point.
Attacks that used to take time and serious skill can now happen faster and with far less effort.
This is why we built Strikeforce Cyber. We help detect strange behaviour early and shut down problems before they spread. A safety layer for a world where AI threats are getting quicker and harder to see.
This was a preview of what is coming next.
AI and Cyber Security needs to keep up with the pace of change.
